This Fourth of July was one for the books. It worked out well that I had the day off from rotations and Travis would be up for his 96 weekend. So we wanted to make a day of it. I have made a personal pact to try and take advantage of the River and the North Country while I am in school. One, I know I will miss SOME things about the area after I leave. Two, I need to try and keep busy and be HAPPY the last 10 months of grad school. So with that being said, we decided to head down to Clayton, NY and explore a new and different part of the St. Lawrence River.
One of the activities on my summer bucket list has always been to visit and explore the Antique Boat Museum. And that we did. But, it gets better. I also learned they also provide antique boat rides on the River! SWEET. Now this has always been on my lifetime bucket list, so you can only imagine how happy I was. Not only was I out cruising the River but I was in an old antique woody complete with the flag on the back. I am pretty sure I was smiling the entire time. Here are some of my favorite pictures from the museum and the boat ride through the 1,000 islands.
Hope everyone enjoyed their 4th of July!
